　The process of komon dyeing is an accumulation of very delicate works.

No slight distortion of a very small design is permitted.

"EDOKOMON" is such a sensitive kimono.　　　　　　　　　　　　　

◆1- Katatsuke

to prepare cloths for dyeing. This work required the most delicate skill.

◆2-Shigoki◆

to dye the base color of cloths uniformly.　

◆3-Mushi◆

to steam cloths at high temperature for dyeing firmly.

◆4-Kansou◆

to dry cloths in shade after washing it with water.
